The elite commando disguised as an ordinary security guard stepped to the altar, marrying his fallen comrade's abandoned sister to shield her from corporate assassins.

Former special operations operator Cole Slade, once feared across war zones under the codename Reaper, works undercover as a humble building guard to protect Victoria Kingsley, the sister of his fallen battlefield brother Alexander. When Victoria's arranged wedding implodes amid an orchestrated corporate ambush, the proud heiress pulls Cole to the altar in a desperate sham ceremony to protect her family's tech conglomerate from predatory takeover.

Cole's lethal combat reflexes roar back to life as he dismantles armed thugs in cathedral halls and intimidates rival magnates at lavish galas. When physical clues point to Victoria's own treacherous uncle Conrad as the conspirator behind Alexander's death, Cole unleashes warfare on boardrooms and city streets alike to defend his new bride.
