After destroying her divine status to save the god of war, the crippled goddess walked into the underworld forever upon catching him with a siren.

A celestial deity sacrifices her divine divinity to rescue the god of war from destruction, losing her physical mobility and fertility in the ordeal. After accepting his persistent proposals, she devotes herself to their union until their third anniversary, when she discovers him engaged in an illicit liaison with a siren.

Rather than confronting his hollow excuses, she departs Mount Olympus to take her sibling's eternal post within the underworld domain. While her frantic former husband scorches his feet across hellish fires searching for redemption, he confronts the agonizing realization that the woman he betrayed has erased him from her heart.
