The Phoenix Was Never Weak

Slain by her calculating rival in a previous life, a gifted summoner awakens at the altar where novice mages bond with mythical beasts. Knowing the treacherous nature of the celebrated shadow dragon, she steps aside as her greedy enemy eagerly claims the creature, expecting supreme authority.

Instead, the reborn heroine selects a bloodied, mocked phoenix near the brink of death. As her rival slowly discovers that the dragon drains its master's vitality, the humble summoner patiently nurtures her divine bird back to vigor, preparing to unleash an inferno against those who ruined her past.
