The Mafia Godfather's Runaway Wife

Years after giving up her biological heart through an organ transplant to preserve the life of a wounded syndicate successor, a fragile woman lives in hiding with a delicate mechanical pump while raising their daughter in secret. To push him away, she previously fabricated a callous lie claiming she only coveted his wealth. Today, that former patient rules the regional underworld with an iron fist, betrothed to a deceitful socialite who claimed full credit for the lifesaving donation. When health complications drive the ailing mother to confront him during an extravagant celebration, the vindictive crime lord retaliates harshly, jeopardizing her failing artificial device while lingering misunderstandings threaten everyone involved.
