Returning to the werewolf kingdom five years after fleeing an accidental mating, a human physician accepted an appointment treating the very monarch whose child she raised.

Five years following an unexpected romantic encounter within royal forest borders, a human physician returns to the territory seeking specialized treatment for her ailing young son. Unbeknownst to her, the high-profile patient who hires her as personal family physician is the very Lycan ruler who fathered her boy.

When the child's royal wolf bloodline begins awakening, hostile court factions brand him an illegitimate curse and plot his elimination. To shield both his mate and newfound heir, the king must confront court traitors to secure his destined family.
