The Husband She Took for Granted
63 EP
Subjected to constant electric shocks from a supposed lie-detector bracelet worn since childhood, a young daughter endures severe abuse from a mother obsessed with pseudoscience. While her favored twin sister sports a counterfeit trinket that always glows green, the mistreated girl is branded a deceptive delinquent whenever her device flashes red.
During a fatal medical emergency, the mother dismisses her agony as manipulation, leaving the dying child locked away while celebrating holidays with the favored sister. Only after discovering the child's journal does the horrified parent realize the band detected physical pain rather than falsehoods, unleashing inescapable grief and madness.
