Desiring only afternoon naps and sweet berries in the imperial palace, the miniature fairy watched every rival trap inadvertently push her onto the royal throne.

Elowen is a palm-sized fairy who enters the imperial selection with zero ambition to rule, preferring peaceful slumbers and endless snacks over royal politics. Guided by a prophetic crystal telling her that total inaction will guarantee victory, she does her absolute best to avoid notice.

Her jealous rivals refuse to leave her alone, engineering elaborate conspiracies that mysteriously backfire and expose their own treason instead. By unwittingly saving the emperor and unraveling a treacherous coup, the tiny creature finds herself crowned queen against her will.
