After walking in on her cheating boyfriend, a heartbroken human woman fled into a nightclub and kissed a cursed pack commander.

Shay Santos plans an intimate surprise for her long-time partner, only to catch him red-handed in the arms of another woman. Crushed by the betrayal, she heads out for a wild night with her closest friend, recklessly swearing to give herself to the very next stranger she encounters. That stranger turns out to be Mal Haywood, a dominant werewolf alpha.

Their sudden bond sparks an intense physical pull that crosses the strict boundary between mortals and shifters. Yet dark magic complicates their encounter: Mal suffers under a fatal curse that requires him to claim Shay as his official mate to survive. Shay suddenly finds herself pulled into paranormal pack politics where a single bite carries life-or-death consequences.
