Trapped in a soulless engagement a decade after forfeiting her Olympic dreams, the former figure skater felt her world reawaken when her childhood best friend reappeared.

Ten years ago, Gwen Tyler stands on the precipice of international skating glory, possessing unmatched elegance on ice and chasing Olympic gold. A decade later, that radiant promise has faded into a hollow existence, leaving her stranded in a suffocating, loveless engagement that dims her spirit and stifles her ambition.

Everything changes when Aaron Lansing, her dearest childhood companion and first love, walks back into her life after ten years of separation. His steadfast devotion reminds Gwen of the vibrant athlete she once was, challenging her to break free from her toxic betrothal and fight for the happiness she surrendered long ago.
