The Year in His Chains
59 EP
Stolen in infancy from a prominent corporate matriarch, little Sophie endures terrible mistreatment at the hands of a cruel foster family who treat her as unpaid domestic help. Forced to forage in dangerous woods, she receives unexpected protection from Eleanor, an impoverished neighbor with a sick son.
When Sophie's malicious guardians poison themselves through their own greed and attempt to frame the child, she flees to Eleanor's modest home. As her biological mother closes the net in search of her missing child, a miraculous reunion changes both families forever.
