Standing beside a snowy curb on Christmas Eve, the grieving tycoon suddenly recognized his presumed-dead wife begging as a mute invalid.

For seven long winters, Christmas brings Raphael Stone nothing but agonizing sorrow following the disappearance of his beloved spouse. That lingering darkness breaks during an icy December evening when he spots Lucy alive in the street, reduced to poverty after years apart.

His joy quickly turns to anguish upon realizing that Lucy can neither speak nor walk, and her vacant gaze holds zero memory of their marriage. Raphael vows to shield her from further cruelty, determined to nurse her back to health while uncovering who stole her past.
