She Broke the Gift for His Mother

A celebrated pharmaceutical scientist returns to the country after years of overseas research, eager to reunite with her corporate executive son. On her way from the terminal, she steps in to shield an innocent child from a speeding vehicle driven by her son's arrogant girlfriend, causing an expensive medicine vial to break.

Enraged by the delay, the reckless driver and her brother assault the unassuming researcher and destroy her personal keepsakes. Hours later at a formal family banquet, the scientist unmasks the deceitful assistant before corporate executives, prompting her son to terminate the engagement while authorities arrest the perpetrators.
