After standing sentinel over apocalyptic monsters for a thousand years, an immortal guardian walked away when an arrogant royal family dismissed his service.

An ancient immortal guards a dangerous frontier tower for ten centuries, single-handedly containing monstrous mythological leviathans to preserve imperial peace. Despite his selfless devotion, the ruling monarch strips his rank to flatter an unproven divine pretender, ordering the veteran to depart in disgrace.

Hours after his departure, protective seals shatter, unleashing apocalyptic hordes across imperial cities. As cowardly royals fall to their knees begging for salvation, the exiled guardian carries his kin away, refusing to forgive their betrayal.
