The Year in His Chains
59 EP
While on duty at her medical clinic on her marriage anniversary, an expectant female physician welcomes an appointment with an expectant patient. To her utter horror, the woman entering the examination room is her husband's long-lost first love, with her own spouse attentively supporting the other woman's prenatal needs.
Shattered by the blatant betrayal, the clinician refuses to remain bound to a sham marriage built on hollow vows. Resolving to sever marital ties immediately, she begins filing legal dissolution paperwork to reclaim her dignity.
