Trading places with her deceitful sibling to secure rare medicine for her mother, an illegitimate royal married an infamous abyssal dragon commander.

An ostracized princess agrees to take her half-sister's place in an arranged union with the feared ruler of the dragon abyss, using the bridal dowry to purchase a mythical curative petal for her ailing mother. Heartbreakingly, her greedy sibling and an arrogant prince steal the remedy, causing her mother's death.

While the remorseful prince belatedly realizes his folly and pursues her in vain, the bride discovers her monstrous dragon spouse is actually a compassionate protector.
