Mom Wins Five Million Dollars

Treated as an unpaid domestic servant and subjected to semi-starvation in her eldest son's residence, an elderly woman scrapes together pocket change from recycling discarded metal to buy a lottery ticket. When the ticket nets a staggering five-million-dollar jackpot, she conceals the fortune to test her adult children's loyalty.

Predictably, both of her sons discard her the moment she requires care, leaving her with nowhere to turn until an empathetic daughter-in-law offers shelter. As medical emergencies test familial bonds, the heartbreaking disparity between unconditional compassion and hollow greed becomes impossible to hide.
