I'm Done Guarding

Imbued with godlike power from early childhood, an immortal champion spent three decades stationed alone at an ominous mountain frontier to shield humanity from hellish legions. Instead of offering eternal gratitude, corrupt political leaders branded him a dangerous menace and expelled him from the territory.

The very afternoon the guardian vacates his post, ravenous monstrous hordes overrun the outer defensive barriers, slaughtering the arrogant military commanders who demanded his dismissal. With desperate officials begging on their knees for salvation, the sovereign entity returns with a single cataclysmic strike that obliterates the demonic host forever.
