The Year in His Chains
59 EP
Enduring household servitude under an overbearing aunt, an orphaned maiden is commanded to coordinate bridal preparations for her cousin and a sightless syndicate scion. Unbeknownst to their scheming relatives, the blind heir sacrificed his vision years ago to rescue the young orphan, creating an indelible metaphysical link between their souls.
Whenever his longing reaches across the shadows, radiant golden insignias ignite upon her skin, granting them a covert psychic connection. Using their mystic bond to dismantle a lethal assassination plot orchestrated by his treasonous uncle, the lovers break the dark hex, restoring his sight and crowning her as his mafia queen.
