Death Forgot He Loved Me

A street-smart thief pinches an ancient silver band, only for the jewelry to bond painfully to her finger, establishing a mystical engagement with an amnesiac grim reaper. Forced into hiding together, the unlikely pair must navigate a cruel celestial toll where sparing a life requires claiming another. As they dodge supernatural perils across the city, ancient memories awaken: the rebellious mortal is the reincarnation of the reaper's long-lost soulmate, and the relic was forged from his personal sacrifice. Desperate to escape their cycle of tragedy, the divine guardian relinquishes his godhead to embrace a fragile human existence beside her.
