Edward believes that genuine affection can only be discovered when status and wealth are stripped away. Facing an arranged marriage orchestrated by his family, he devises an elaborate scheme to test the character of his intended bride by fabricating a twin sibling named Eden.

Presenting himself alternatively as a sharp, unyielding businessman and a gentle, visually impaired outcast, he watches his fiancée shower praise upon the wealthy heir while openly humiliating his vulnerable alter ego. Through this deception, Edward uncovers true loyalty in the most unexpected corners of his household.
