Awakened Dragon Oath

Centuries ago, an ancient dragon sacrificed her protective scales to rescue six starving realms from demonic plagues, exacting a sacred vow that would deliver royal souls into her keeping upon their death. Weakened by the ordeal, the noble beast rested beneath the earth while generations passed in peace.

When she finally stirs, she finds that the corrupt monarchs broke their sacred oath, using her power to wage brutal conquests while the clergy paints her as an evil calamity. Joined by a disillusioned knight who renounces his holy orders, she marches to reclaim her scales and balance the scales of justice.
